Warranty Policy
Clear, Documented Warranty Practices
TruMetric’s warranty policies are established as part of our Quality Management System and apply to calibration and repair services performed by our laboratories and on-site teams. Warranty coverage varies by service type, instrument condition, and customer requirements, and is documented to ensure consistent application and defensibility.
General Warranty
TruMetric warrants that calibration and repair services are performed in accordance with documented procedures, applicable standards, and agreed-upon customer requirements. Warranty coverage applies to workmanship and service performance only and does not extend to normal wear, misuse, environmental damage, or changes to equipment after service completion.
Calibration Warranties
Calibration warranties apply to the accuracy and validity of calibration results at the time of service under stated environmental conditions. Warranty coverage does not apply to drift, damage, or changes occurring after calibration due to handling, usage, or environmental exposure. Accredited and non-accredited calibrations are warranted in accordance with their respective scopes and reporting requirements.
Repair Warranties
Repair warranties apply to the specific repair actions performed and parts replaced by TruMetric. Warranty coverage does not extend to unrelated components, pre-existing conditions, or subsequent failures caused by normal use, external factors, or customer modifications. Repair warranty terms may vary based on instrument type and repair scope.
